Equine-Assisted Mental Health

TREE House’s equine-assisted mental health and counseling services provide an interactive and trauma-informed approach for clients coping with behavioral and emotional issues. Counseling services include the equine-assisted psychotherapy, telehealth, and office-based counseling. This experiential therapy process focuses on client goal achievement through interacting with horses in a variety of ways, ultimately helping clients develop positive patterns outside of the therapy session.

This dynamic approach can be utilized to address a variety of concerns including: anxiety, building competency and resiliency, bullying, depression, improving relational skills, improving self-esteem, somatic, stress, and team building.

These sessions are open to individuals, couples, families, groups, and partner organizations. This service does not currently accept insurance.
