Summer Camps!

TREE House of Greater St. Louis is proud to offer SUMMER CAMP for children of all abilities ages 5 through 15. Our expert camp staff includes licensed OT, PT, or Speech Therapists/Assistants as well as PATH, Intl. certified therapeutic riding instructors. Low staff to camper ratio, and fun camp activities for your child to enjoy! Get your registration in today as space is limited.
Our most popular camp – Camp Champ – is designed for individuals who need additional supports and a low camper to staff ratio. Camp Champ is an introduction to horses and great for individuals of all abilities who have very limited horse exposure. Camp Champ incorporates the traditional camp activities of hiking, exploring, and crafts, along with horsemanship skills. A significant amount of camper’s time will be learning how to groom, lead, tack, and ride horses! We will also enjoy the atmosphere and activities that only 90 outdoor acres can provide. This camp is great for individuals looking to increase social skills, self-confidence, and just to have fun! No prior horse experience or exposure is required for Camp Champ. All abilities. PONY PALS CAMP
for individuals, ages 8-15, who have prior horse experience and are able to be on the horse and steer independently at the walk.

The typical staff to camper ratio is 1:4 and led by a certified riding instructor. This camp is designed for individuals who have horse experience and are able to be on the horse and steer their horse independently at the walk. There will be riding lessons throughout your week of camp, but you will also learn horsemanship skills including leading, grooming, tacking, and even some basic first aid for horses.
All camps are held at the TREE House of Greater St. Louis campus located at 332 Stable Lane, Wentzville, MO. We have indoor and outdoor riding arenas, as well as several trails on 90 acres. Our multi-purpose room is air-conditioned and is where we will eat lunch and perform crafts. Our indoor riding arena has two industrial size barn fans that provide a nice breeze. All activities are weather permitting.
For campers with disabilities who are not currently participants at TH, a pre-camp introductory session may be required. Additional camper forms are required for all campers. Once your registration has been processed and scheduled, you will receive an email with additional paperwork to complete prior to your start of camp.
