COTA

Dana has assisted individuals in reaching their therapeutic goals at TREE House for over 10 years. She is very passionate about a non-traditional therapy approach by using a horse for the main tool, as well as the benefits an animal contributes in a therapy setting. People are often very interested and have many questions regarding what exactly she does. Dana sums it up by saying, “It’s a place where magic happens. Who wouldn’t want to be apart of that!”

When not at TREE House, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and extended animal family which includes two horses of her own! She is very thankful for all the support given to TH and to the volunteers that help keep the magic going.

Dana earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and physical fitness from MU prior to attending occupational therapy school.
