Our Vision: Focus on Therapy, Recreation, Education and Exploration

This year, TREE House celebrates its 40th year of improving the lives of individuals with disabilities in the St. Louis community. Since our inception, we have been a leader in the field of equine-assisted therapy. So what’s next? We want to continue to grow our programs and expand our services and facilities in each of the four branches of the TREE House: therapy, recreation, education, and exploration.

THERAPY

Licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists and/or certified riding instructors help children and adults with disabilities reach their individual therapeutic goals by using horses as part of the treatment team during weekly therapy sessions.

RECREATION

TREE House offers recreational riding programs and summer camp opportunities for individuals with and without disabilities. Our inclusive summer camp program, Camp Champ, is open to children ages 5 and up of all abilities and horse experience.

EDUCATION

TREE House often hosts workshops to share our expertise with others in the equine-assisted therapy community. As we grow, we plan to offer additional educational seminars for families and practitioners in the medical and therapy fields on a wide range of subjects.

EXPLORATION

With 88 beautiful acres, TREE House offers individuals with disabilities and their families the opportunity to enjoy time together in a quiet, serene natural environment. Future plans include accessible trails, a picnic area, and playground.
