Our Volunteer Program

Our volunteers are one of the most critical elements in the successful implementation of our program.  Volunteers are the direct link between the instructor’s guidance to the client and the achievement of personal therapy goals with the aid of the horse. Therapeutic Horsemanship relies heavily on over 300 active volunteers each year.

Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.

Volunteer Roles

We utilize volunteers in a number of different ways at the TREE House of Greater St. Louis. If you have a specific talent or interest, we would love to find the perfect role for you. Below is a list of some common volunteer roles. If you are interested in finding out more about volunteering, you can email Kathy Castellitto at or call us at 636.332.4940.
